A collecting cars & Throttle-House event
Collecting Cars is a global online auction platform created for automotive enthusiasts to do exactly what the name implies. They have come together with hardcore automotive YouTube creators called Throttle-House in Oakville, Ontario to host a Cars & Coffee event. If they hadn’t personally invited my good friend Johnnie over at KnockRod Garage then we wouldn’t have been notified of the event. (Although we lost 40% of content due to the weather causing memory card corruption, we are thankful to still deliver 60%.)
Before we start, be sure to follow our automotive Instagram: @WolfSoloMedia to see when new content is out!
Let’s get into it shall we?
Chapter One: Gather
There’s something special about this phase of a car show. A lot of photographers and videographers make it their prime duty to arrive before others to capture shots others won’t have. Personally I like arriving early to potentially run into hosts and take a few moments to analyze my surroundings. As the sound of engines started to be heard in the distance I knew it was time to cue the Sony A7iii for game time. Commence the roll in.

A WILD ferrari sf90 stradale APPEARS
The future is fast approaching for electric vehicles to take over and personally I’ve got a permanent sad boy face. I’ve driven plenty of special vehicles but I still have plenty more to experience. Nonetheless, Ferrari has joined the wave of electric vehicles by releasing the SF90, a mid-engined PHEV performance car with some lovely specs. At least it still possesses a roaring V8 we all love to hear, oh and it’s about 1000HP. There are plenty of OG automotive gurus such as Chris Harris of Top Gear adding their honest reviews of the Ferrari SF90. Wow, that’s ironic how he appears in this next set!
Chapter two: Rain or shine
Wish I brought my rain coat for my Sony A7III and A7II because had I did, I would’ve prevented that 40% loss of content. When it rains, it pours but hate it or love it the underdogs on top. I’m a big fan of the rain, just not when I have to drive in it. I love the way the water beads on paint and how a moving vehicle creates an elegant mist. Nonetheless, we still went out and snapped some wet cars under the elements.
I’m a huge believer in the concept of being motivated and inspired by someone or something. It pays off a lot to have good people around you who provide a good dosage of motivation and inspiration. Thank You @spokephoto & @johnniericardoo for being good people!
Most of you already know Throttle-House co-hosts: James Engelsman & Thomas Holland and they are good people to! Check out Throttle House on YouTube for amazing automotive content.

FINAL CHAPTER: KEEP THE PASSION
If you’ve reached this far I’d like to thank you endlessly as this passion for automotive content creation is a part of me. These visuals are pretty much my super power; I have the ability to freeze moments in time to reflect upon in the future or inspire in the present. I will do everything to keep the passion burning by sharing content and pushing past any blockades we may face. We aim to keep you pressing towards all your goals and to be an influence in the right steps to gain success.
Go be great!
Chris Harris giving the Wolf thumbs up!
